Rectocele. If you have one and you can deal with it on a day to day basis can you just ignore getting it operated on? I understand the surgery is painful with a long recovery period. What I want to know is – 10 or 20 years down the road will I needs the surgery anyway? And will the surgery be worse for having waited? (I’m in my 50’s now.)
